The New Year collection hung on a rail in a dark room, with warm light coming in from the right. An emerald velvet blazer, a Cartagena-yellow silk shirt and a charcoal cashmere scarf with a saffron fringe.

Collection 01 · December 2026

Frans & Fest, New Year

Four garments, one window. The New Year collection is deliberately small and deliberately heavy on accessories.

Collections · December 2026

The scarf and the slipper carry no size risk, a low return rate and high gift potential, which is exactly what a new brand needs in its first commercial drop. The velvet blazer and the silk shirt are the face of the collection and carry the margin.

The colour is the Latin half of the name: emerald, guacamaya and saffron, carried by a Nordic construction in charcoal. It is the only collection where the accent colour is allowed to take a whole garment, because it is the only collection about an evening rather than a day.

The house pattern Sömmen as woven fabric. A charcoal grid on a bone-white ground with a single saffron weft pick and one black per repeat.
Sömmen, the house pattern. A square grid with a single saffron thread.
